Hoosiers to Face Middle Tennessee State Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to face Middle Tennessee State on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET in the consolation round of the Preseason WNIT.
The Hoosiers (1-1) opened the preseason event with an 84-68 win over Ball State on IU's season opener on Friday, Nov. 14. Six Hoosiers scored in double-digit points as senior Amber Jackson led the way with 17 on the night. In Indiana's second WNIT match-up, the Hoosiers fell in a hard-fought battle to No. 22 Xavier, 62-59, in Assembly Hall on Sunday, Nov. 16. Senior All-America candidate Whitney Thomas recorded the 23rd double-double of her career with 12 points and 14 rebounds in the effort.
The Blue Raiders (1-1) fell on the road in the second round of the Preseason WNIT to No. 2 Oklahoma, 85-65, on Wednesday night to set up Saturday's contest.
