Hoosiers Head Out to Vegas For Big-Time Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University wrestling team travels out west to Nevada this weekend for the 27th Annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wresting Invitational. The competition, featuring participants from 48 teams, will be held Friday and Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

In their last trip to the Las Vegas Open in 2007, the Hoosiers finished in sixth place out 47 teams. Angel Escobedo and Brandon Becker each reached the finals while three other Hoosiers also placed in the event. Matt Coughlin finished third, Marc Bennett finished fifth and Max Dean came in at sixth place.
