Hoosiers In Fourth Place After Two Rounds of Cardinal Intercollegiate

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. - The Indiana University men's golf team played two rounds in the Cardinal Intercollegiate on Monday, carding an eight-under total team score of 568 (286-282). With one round to play in the event, the Hoosiers are in fourth place in the team standings.
Individually, Seth Brandon paced the Cream and Crimson at five-under (68-71) and is in a tie for eighth place overall. Alex Martin and Jorge Campillo are not far behind after shooting 141 (-3) and 142 (-2), respectively. Martin is tied for tenth while Campillo is slotted 17th. Chase Wright contributed to the team score by posting a 74 and a 72 and shares 31st place. Drew Allenspach completed the IU lineup, carding rounds of 74 75. David Erdy also made the trip to Kentucky playing as an individual. He is even with Allenspach after two rounds at 149 and in a tie for 45th place.
Denver and host-school Louisville are tops in the team standings, seven strokes ahead of the Hoosiers. Indiana trailed Eastern Kentucky by just four strokes heading into the last round on Tuesday.
