BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Hoosier divers look to punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships this weekend as they travel to Minneapolis, Minn. for the NCAA Zone C Diving meet. The meet runs Friday through Sunday at the University Aquatic Center on the University of Minnesota campus.
A total of eight men and 10 women will obtain berths to the NCAA Championships from the zone. Competitions in the one-meter and three-meter springboard events and the platform will consist of a six-dive preliminary session. After a brief break, the top 18 divers will advance to the finals. Scores from the preliminaries will carry over to the finals session to help determine a champion.
NCAA Zone C consists of schools located in central United States, covering Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. There are five NCAA zones overall with each hosting its own NCAA qualifying meet.
On the women's side, Christina Loukas, Brittney Feldman, Amy Korthauer, Christina Kouklakis, Gabby Agostino and Nicole Brehm will compete on the one-meter, three-meter and springboard for the women. For the men, Landon Marzullo, Will Bohonyi, Jonathan Dohring, Robert Dohring and Linus Altman-Kurosaki will compete in all three events.
Loukas is looking to make her fourth NCAA Championships appearance and add to collection of eight All-America honors. In 2007, Loukas took second in the one-meter and ninth in the three-meter competition. This year she set a Big Ten record with a score of 400.75 to win the three-meter springboard title and finished second on the one-meter.

At this year's Big Ten Championships she posted a third-place finish on the three-meter and a fourth-place finish on the one-meter. Korthauer, Kouklakis, Agostino and Brehm are all looking for their first trip to the NCAA meet.

Robert was a two-time runner up at the Division III meet, also competing for Occidental.
The meet begins on Friday with the women's one-meter and men's three-meter competition. Saturday features the men's one-meter and women's three-meter, with the platform competition scheduled for Sunday. The women's NCAA Championships take place March 19-21 in College Station, Texas.
