Hoosiers Compete at USA Diving Speedo Spring Nationals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The USA Diving Speedo Spring Nationals get underway this week and seven current IU divers will compete at the event which runs April 20-26 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The 2009 NCAA Champion and 2008 Olympian on the three meter, Christina Loukas is pre-qualified into the semifinals of the women's one meter and three meter and will also dive in the three-meter synchronized competition with partner Amanda Miller.
Junior Amy Korthauer has pre-qualified into the semifinals on the platform, while junior Brittney Feldman is pre-qualified in the one meter and three meter semifinals.
Freshman Gabby Agostino is registered for the prelims on the one meter and three meter, while freshman Nicole Brehm is registered for preliminary competition on the one meter and platform. Sophomore Christina Kouklakis will compete in the prelims of the one meter and three meter, and sophomore Heidi Mahnken will compete in the prelims of the platform.
