Wrestling Home Opener Presents Three Duals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The #24 Indiana University wrestling team (3-0) takes the mat for the first home competition of the season, hosting the Hoosier Duals on Saturday, Nov. 27. Wrestling is slated to begin at 9 a.m. inside Assembly Hall.

The Hoosier Duals is a four-team round-robin event featuring IU, Northern Illinois, Old Dominion and North Carolina at Greensboro. Indiana faces UNCG in the opening round before facing Old Dominion and Northern Illinois in the subsequent duals.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
Round 1- Indiana vs. UNC Greensboro; Northern Illinois vs. Old Dominion
Round 2- IU vs. ODU; NIU vs. UNCG
Round 3- IU vs. NIU; ODU vs. UNCG
There is potential for some big-time bouts, featuring a pair of nationally-ranked grapplers facing each other, as all four teams have at least one ranked wrestler. Indiana leads the way with four student-athletes listed in this week's Intermat National Rankings.
