Agostino Named Big Ten Diver of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University junior diver Gabby Agostino was named the Big Ten Diver of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday night.
Agostino is coming off a double-win weekend in a dual meet with Texas and Michigan at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. She won her third 3-meter springboard title in as many meets with a season-best score of 366.10. Agostino also picked up her first win of the season on the 1-meter springboard with a tally of 318.85, a team-best score for Indiana this season. She also competed on the platform for the first time this season, placing sixth (240.40). It is the first Big Ten weekly honor of her career.
The Hoosier swimmers and divers return to action Nov. 19-20 in a double dual meet in Charlottesville, Va., taking on Virginia and Big Ten counterpart Penn State. Indiana's men are in action at home this Friday with a double dual meet against national power Michigan and defending NCAA Champion Texas at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. The meet gets underway at 3 p.m. ET.
