"It was one of those days where not much went right," said head coach Clint Wallman. "But that is golf. I thought Jackie (Yanch) had a solid day, but as a whole it was tough out there."
Senior Laura Nochta tallied an 81 on the final day of competition and finished in a tie for 23rd (72-74-81/227). Freshman Jacqueline Yanch had the low round of the day with a 78, finishing tied for 46th (76-80-78/234). Senior Kellye Belcher tied for 53rd, coming home with an 81 on Tuesday (77-77-81/235). Junior Cecilia Orevik shot an 81 in the final round to place tied for 77th (79-86-81/246). Freshman Kate Coons completed her tournament with an 87 to finish in 83rd (82-85-87/254).
"We definitely have some areas to work on, most notably our short game and reducing compound errors," Wallman said. "We just need to get back to playing and get ready for UCF (Invitational) in March."
