Farrell Fourth in 200 Free at French National Championships

SAINT RAPHAEL, France - Indiana University sophomore Margaux Farrell recorded a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter freestyle at the 2010 French Long Course National Championships in Saint Raphael, France this past weekend.
Farrell, the 2010 Big Ten champion in the 200-yard freestyle, placed fourth in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:00.20, the second-fastest time in school history. She set a new school record with a time of 1:59.96 to finish second in her semifinal heat. She also swam a 2:01.41 in prelims, giving her three of the four fastest times in school history. Farrell will compete for France at the European National Championships in Budapest, Hungary this summer in the 4x200 freestyle relay.
