Softball Hands Out Team Awards at Year-End Banquet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Head coach Michelle Gardner and the Indiana University Softball team held their end of the year banquet on Saturday in the Hoosier Room of Memorial Stadium. The staff handed out five awards, including the Team MVP Award, which went to senior Jennifer Glueckert.
Glueckert led the team with a .356 batting average overall, and that average increased to .389 in Big Ten games, which was one of the top averages by all Big Ten outfielders this season. She had 14 multi-hit games to her credit this season and was a constant in the lineup throughout the year. Coming into the season, she had 14 RBI in her career and she matched that this season, driving in 14. In the field, she committed just four errors on the year, for a .933 fielding percentage.
