Farrell Helps France to Silver Medal at European Nationals

BUDAPEST, Hungary - Indiana University junior Margaux Farrell was part of the French National Team 800-meter freestyle relay which finished second at the 2010 European National Championship in Budapest, Hungary on Thursday.
Farrell, who holds dual American and French citizenship, and her teammates recorded a time of 7:52.69, 2/10ths of a second behind champion Hungary (7:52.49). Farrell swan the third leg of the relay, recording a time of 2:00.04 over her 200-meter swim.
Also a member of the French National Team competing at the European Nationals is sophomore Eric Ress. Ress will swim the prelims of the men's 200-meter backstroke on Friday.
