Ryan Shares Big Ten Weekly Award

Sophomore Laura Ryan is the Big Ten Diver of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - For the second time in as many weeks, sophomore diver Laura Ryan is the co-Big Ten Diver of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Ryan was honored after sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter events in a double dual meet with Texas and Michigan last Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich. In the 1-meter competition she posted a score of 365.70, and tallied a final score of 298.95 on the 3-meter. Both marks are NCAA Zone qualifying scores.

This is Ryan's second Big Ten honor this year as she also shared diver of the week accolades last week. It is her third career award.

The Hoosier women return to action Nov. 18-19 in State College, Pa. as they take on Penn State and Virginia in a double dual meet.
