Nees Earns Big Ten Diver of the Week Honors

Junior Zac Nees was named the Big Ten Diver of the Week for the first time in his career on Tuesday.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University junior diver Zac Nees was named the Big Ten Diver of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Nees picked up a pair of wins on the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards last weekend as the Hoosier men swept Penn State and Virginia in a double dual meet. His score of 403.60 on the 3-meter is a new personal best and an NCAA Zone qualifying mark. In the 1-meter competition he put up a score of 384.40, which is also an NCAA Zone mark.

This is the first Big Ten weekly honor of Nees' career.
