Hoosiers Picked Third in Preseason Coaches Poll

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University baseball team was picked to finish third in the first ever Big Ten Coaches Preseason Poll. Defending regular season and conference tournament champion Minnesota was tabbed the league's favorite while Michigan came in at No. 2.

Indiana returns the reigning Big Ten Player of the Year and Triple Crown winner Alex Dickerson, All-Big Ten first-teamer Josh Lyon, second-teamer Jerrud Sabourin and Freshman All-American Micah Johnson.

The Hoosiers get the '11 campaign started this Friday (Feb. 18) with a three-game weekend down in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Indiana is slated for contests against Virginia Tech, Boston College and #20 Coastal Carolina.
