Thursday Prelim Results
500 Freestyle
Indiana puts three in tonight's championship final in Brittany Strumbel, Lindsay Vrooman and Nikki White. White won her heat with a time of 4:43.48, while Courey Schaefer was fourth in the same heat with a career-best time of 4:45.05. In the seventh heat Lindsay Vrooman finished third with a career-best 4:43.43, while Brittany Strumbel went 4:41.78 in the final heat. Schaefer will swim tonight's consolation final.
200 Individual Medley
The Hoosiers have the top two qualifiers for tonight's 200 individual medley final in Ashley Jones and Allysa Vavra. Jones posted the fastest time of the morning with a season best 1:57.94, while Vavra went a career best 1:58.00 to qualify second. Kim Tracey (2:01.65) and Bronwyn Pasloski (2:02.07) will swim in the consolation final. Ashley Specht cut seven seconds off her career best with a time of 2:05.62, while Katelyn Ishee also posted a career mark at 2:08.84.
50 Freestyle
Margaux Farrell and Sara Delay will swim the consolation final of the 50 freestyle tonight after both posted career bests in the morning prelims. Farrell went 22.83 to finish 10th, while Delay was 11th in 22.93.
1-Meter Diving
Four Hoosiers have qualified for tonight's championship final of the 1-meter springboard.
