Complete Session Results
200 Backstroke
All three IU swimmers advanced to tonight's session with Taylor Wohrley and Ashley Jones making it to the championship final. Wohrley swam a career best 1:54.15 to qualify third, while Ashley Jones qualified fourth with a career best 1:55.19. Kim Tracey will swim the consolation final after a time of 1:57.72.
100 Freestyle
Three Hoosiers will swim in tonight's championship final, led by Brittany Strumbel who qualified second with a career best 48.92. Margaux Farrell (49.05) and Sara Delay (49.42) also posted career marks to qualify third and seventh, respectively. Stephanie Armstrong just missed a spot in the consolation final, finishing 17th in a career time of 50.26. Guinevere Vanden Noort also had the best swim of her collegiate career with a time of 51.95.
200 Breaststroke
Allysa Vavra won the 200 breaststroke prelims with a new school record and NCAA auto qualifying time of 2:09.25. Ashley Specht (9th- 2:14.51) Bronwyn Pasloski (10th-2:14.59), Brittney Phelan (12th-2:15.27) and Katelyn Ishee (13th-2:15.27) will all swim the consolation final after posting career best times. Afton Robertson won her heat and finished 25th overall with a career-best time of 2:18.63.
200 Butterfly
Brittany Barwegen enters tonight's 200 butterfly final as the top qualifier with a season best time of 1:56.70. Teammates Lindsay Vrooman and Brenna MacLean also posted lifetime bests with Vrooman ninth in 1:59.30 and MacLean 13th in 1:59.67.
Platform Diving
All seven Hoosiers will earn points for Indiana in the platform diving competition. Defending Big Ten champion Gabby Agostino is the top qualifier for tonight's final after scoring a career best 351.10 points in prelims. Heidi Mahnken (3rd-349.25), Laura Ryan (5th-311.55) and Kate Hillman (7th-300.15) all hit career marks to earn a spot in tonight's championship final. Nicole Brehm (12th-265.00), Logan Kline (14th-248.10) and Amy Cozad (15th-240.95) will compete in the consolation final.
