BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - For the last two days, Indiana University swimmers and divers have had a chance to pick the brain of one of the greatest champions in Olympic history, diver Greg Louganis.
Louganis, a double gold medal winner in the 3-meter springboard and platform diving at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, has been on campus as part of the USA Diving Mentor program. During this time divers have had a chance to listen to Louganis talk about his background, experiences and techniques that made his career so successful.
On Tuesday, the teams and selected staff members attended a luncheon with Louganis where everyone had a chance to take part in a question and answer session. Later that night Louganis was a featured guest on the Joe Smith Sports Show (listen to interview highlights here).
