BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana knocked off No. 62 Iowa to remain unbeaten in Big Ten play this season. The Hoosiers started off the day by winning the doubles point and then swept singles play for the 7-0 win. The Hoosiers have won eight-straight matches and nine of their last 11, improving to 18-4 (5-0 Big Ten).
The Hoosiers got the doubles point with wins at numbers one and two. Santiago Gruter and Jeremy Langer picked up their 12th-straight win at No. 1 against Iowa's Marc Bruche and Will Vasos, 8-4.
In singles action, the Hoosiers got a second straight day of fantastic play at No. 6 singles from Stephen Vogl. He blanked Iowa's Garret Dunn 6-0, 6-0. The next match to finish was at No.3, where Josh MacTaggart took down Nikita Zotov 6-1, 6-4.
Gruter was the next victor, winning 6-2, 6-4 over Vasos at No. 2 singles. Isade Juneau made it 5-0 with his win at No. 5, and Langer and Claes Goransson closed out the sweep with wins at numbers one and four respectively.
