BTN Visits Hoosiers Practice

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana welcomed the BTN to Bloomington for football practice No. 8 on Sunday. Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and the BTN crew stopped by the IU Practice Fields for the sixth stop on their tour across the Big Ten.
The network is traveling across Big Ten country to bring fans a 30-minute, on-site preview show. Indiana's show will air at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 19.
Today's practice closed out week one of preseason camp. The Hoosiers return to the field on Monday with the first of three two-a-days next week to go along with single practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
In addition to Monday's practices, head coach Kevin Wilson will speak at IU's eighth and final Tailgate Tour stop at the DeVault Alumni Center in Bloomington. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets for the event are available for $10 for IU Alumni Association, I Association and Varsity Club members, and $15 for nonmembers.

Indiana's 2011 schedule kicks off with a contest against in-state foe Ball State on Sept. 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Hoosiers then host Virginia on Sept. 10 and South Carolina State on Sept. 17.
Home conference games include Penn State on Oct. 1, Illinois on Oct. 8, Northwestern on Oct. 29, and the Old Oaken Bucket game vs. Purdue on Nov. 26.
