BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - After a pair of practices on Wednesday, the Indiana football team went full pads for a single session on Thursday at the IU Practice Fields. Running backs Nick Turner and Matt Perez chatted with IUHooisers.com's Jeremy Gray and head coach Kevin Wilson met with the media.
Turner shouldered most of the workload this spring and is picking up where he left off thus far. The Indianapolis native rushed for 157 yards on 28 carries (5.6 average) with one touchdown in 11 games last year. Turner also made seven catches for 54 yards and returned 12 kicks for 253 yards
Perez is back on the field after suffering a season-ending knee injury during last season's preseason camp.

Indiana's 2011 schedule kicks off with a contest against in-state foe Ball State on Sept. 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Hoosiers then host Virginia on Sept. 10 and South Carolina State on Sept. 17.
Home conference games include Penn State on Oct. 1, Illinois on Oct. 8, Northwestern on Oct. 29, and the Old Oaken Bucket game vs. Purdue on Nov. 26.
