In the women's race, Indiana placed in each of the top six positions all within 1:03 of each other. Winters crossed the line with a winning time of 19:01.48. On the men's side, Indiana runners ran at a controlled pace to begin their season. The unattached Mascari clocked in at first place with a time of 26:06.11.
