Season Opens With Home Dual and Hokie Open

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The 2012-13 Indiana University Wrestling season officially begins Thursday (Nov. 1) at 7 p.m. ET when the Hoosiers host Manchester University in a season-opening dual inside University Gym. The Hoosiers will also compete in tournament-style competition this week, heading to Salam, Va. (Salem Civic Center) for the 5th Annual Hokie Open on Sunday (Nov. 4).

Over 200 wrestlers, representing 20 universities, are expected to wrestle at the Hokie Open. Schools set to compete include: Appalachian State, Campbell, Chattanooga, Duke, Gardner Webb, Hofstra, Indiana, James Madison, King College, Liberty, North Carolina State, Newberry College, Ohio, Rutgers, The Citadel, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, VMI and Washington & Lee.
