Corrado Named to Academic All-District Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University junior midfielder A.J. Corrado was one of 11 student-athletes named to the Capital One Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
First-team honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
Corrado was selected to the District 5 teams, which includes student-athletes from teams in the state of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. He is the only Big Ten player on the squad.
On the field this year, Corrado leads the Big Ten in total assists with nine, as well as assists per game (0.53). He has helped set up four game-winning goals this year while starting all 17 matches. Indiana is 11-4-3 on the season and plays for a share of the Big Ten title tonight against Northwestern at 8 p.m. ET.
In the classroom Corrado is a biology major with a 3.75 GPA.
