200 Medley Relay
The quartet of Allie Day, Ashley Specht, Brenna MacLean and Justine Ress finished 20th with a time of 1:40.08.
400 Individual Medley
Senior Allysa Vavra was just off her school record with a time of 4:02.81 but qualified second for tonight’s championship final. She has guaranteed herself All-America honors in the event for the second-straight year after finishing fifth at last year’s meet.
100 Butterfly
Sophomore Brenna MacLean placed 48th with a time of 54.47.
200 Freestyle
Senior Margaux Farrell returns tonight for the consolation final of the 200 free after placing 12th in prelims with a time of 1:44.74. Senior Brittany Strumbel was 17th, just missing a spot in consols with her time of 1:45.27. Sophomore Lindsay Vrooman won her heat and placed 21st overall with a career-best time of 1:45.78. Senior Nikki White was third in her heat and 34th overall with a time of 1:47.10.
100 Breaststroke
Junior Ashley Specht placed 34th in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.41.
100 Backstroke
Junior Taylor Wohrley led the Hoosiers in the 100 backstroke with a finish of 31st, posting a time of 53.54. Freshman Allie Day posted a career-best time of 53.83 to finish 39th overall. Freshman Justine Ress was 54th, touching the wall in 54.00.
