BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Kofi Hughes led the Hoosiers with 35 receptions, 536 yards, three touchdowns and 15.3 yards per catch as a sophomore last season. He also rushed 27 times for 162 yards (6.0 average) and took some snaps in the Wildcat formation.
The Indianapolis native and Cathedral High School graduate visited with IUHoosiers.com's Jeremy Gray following Tuesday's practice.
Hughes set career marks with eight catches for 147 yards, his first career 100-yard game, with a 34-yard score at Ohio State. He pulled in his first career touchdown, from 40 yards, totaled 47 receiving yards and rushed for 45 yards on two carries in the team's win over South Carolina State.
As one of only two true freshmen to see the field in 2010, Hughes played in the final 10 games. He made seven catches for 42 yards and tallied 14 tackles, eight solo, on kickoff and punt coverage.
