IU Rowing to Host Indiana Invitational at Eagle Creek Sunday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana rowing team will play host to the annual Indiana Invitational on Sunday, March 25 at Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis.
The Hoosiers are coming off a successful spring break trip that saw their First Varsity 8 crew finish in a dead heat with No. 16 Clemson in 6:46.21. Indiana will face in-state rivals Notre Dame and Purdue, along with Louisville at Eagle Creek this weekend. Last season, IU's First Varsity 8 crew came away with a win over Notre Dame, Purdue and Eastern Michigan with a time of 6:28.0, while the Second Varsity 8 crew won with a time of 6:32.0, beating the Irish and the Boilers.
Sunday's racing gets underway with the Novice 8 at 9:50 a.m. ET, while final race is slated for 12:20 p.m.
