Indiana Rowing Dedicates The Spirit of Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Athletics and the IU Rowing program dedicated The Spirit of Indiana on Saturday, April 28, at Lake Lemon during the fourth annual Dale England Cup. Indiana Rowing has dedicated eight boats since Feb. 14, 2000.

The Spirit of Indiana represents the department's motto: 24 Sport, One Team. The Spirit of Indiana: 24 Sports, One Team is a creed that represents Indiana University Athletics' core values, mission statement and strategic plan--all rolled into one solid commitment to our:

 Selves (especially our student-athletes)
 President and trustees
 Faculty and staff
 Alumni and benefactors
 Fans
 Fellow citizens (as a public university, we represent and belong to all Hoosiers)
