IU Rowing Camps Open July 16

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Rowing will hold a Learn to Row Camp, with two sessions on July 16-20 and July 23-27, on Lake Lemon in Bloomington.
Campers will learn the basics of rowing and coxing, video coaching, safety instruction, boat handling skills and how to race. Sessions will include instruction from US Olympian and Indiana head coach Steve Peterson, 10 rowing sessions, four seminars on nutrition, rowing technique, strength training, cross training, team building and activities. Each rower will receive personal and professional attention, a Hoosiers Rowing Camp t-shirt, snacks and drinks, and a BBQ finale on Friday afternoon at the Indiana Boathouse on Lake Lemon.
No experience is necessary and the camp is open to any and all participants, ages 13 and up. Cost is $235 for each session.
