BTN/BTDN to Show 13 Indiana Dual Matches This Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Wrestling is slated to be shown on the Big Ten Network's national stage for 13 dual matches during the 2013-14. The Hoosiers' match at Northwestern on Jan. 4 at 4:30 p.m. ET will be broadcast on BTN while the other seven Big Ten bouts are streamed online by the Big Ten Digital Network on HoosiersTV.
In non-conference action, BTDN visits University Gym for non-conference duals versus Duke and Cleveland State on Nov. 17, against West Virginia and SIUE on Dec. 8 and vs. Manchester on Dec. 14. A record 48 events will be streamed live on BTDN. A large number of those streamed events will also be televised on delay as part of BTN's Student U coverage.
"Wrestling attracts an extremely engaged and enthusiastic fan base," said BTN President Mark Silverman. "With the strength of the Big Ten in the sport, the audience will only continue to grow."
The 2014 Big Ten Championships final session will be televised live at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 9.
