2014 Schedule
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Rowing head coach Steve Peterson has announced the 2014 schedule, which features the Hoosiers playing host to three regattas at Lake Lemon this spring.
Following opening the New Year with their annual Winter Training Trip in Tampa, Fla. (Jan. 4-11), the Hoosiers get the spring slate going when they take on Dayton and Duquesne on Saturday, March 22 on Lake Lemon. Indiana will then hit the road and battle Big Ten foes Ohio State and Michigan State on March 29, before welcoming West Virginia to Bloomington on Saturday, April 5.
The Hoosiers will take part in the Big Ten Double Dual, hosted by Iowa, which features racing against the Hawkeyes and Louisville on Saturday, April 12. Indiana will travel south for the two-day Clemson Invitational, April 19-20, before playing host to the sixth annual Dale England Cup, April 25-26. The Hoosiers will race Notre Dame, Rhode Island and Alabama in the regatta on Lake Lemon, using it as a final tune-up before a two-week break heading into the Big Ten Championships. Big Ten's will once again take place at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis on Sunday, May 18. Eagle Creek will also play host to the 2014 NCAA Rowing Championships on May 30-June 1.
