The Hoosiers begin a five-game homestand as they welcome the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears to Assembly Hall on Monday, Nov. 18. The game will tip at 7 p.m. ET. DID YOU KNOW?
• Indiana's 3-0 record to begin the season is the program's first perfect start through three games since the beginning of the 2009-10 season.
• IU won its second road game of the year at Indiana State on Nov. 15, matching the program's total road win total from a year ago.
• Hoosier opponents are shooting just 18.3 percent from beyond the arc through the first three games.
• First year players in the Indiana program have accounted for 165 of the 227 total points scored by the Hoosiers in the first three games or 72.7 percent of the team's total scoring output.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS AT A GLANCE
Central Arkansas plays in the Southland Conference and is located in Conway, Ark. The Sugar Bears are 3-0 so far this season and have outscored opponents by a plus-32.3 point margin in those wins, including topping Ole Miss out of the SEC on the road. As a Team, UCA is shooting an impressive 52.1 percent from the field and holding opponents to only 26.5 percent shooting on the defensive end. Through three games, four Central Arkansas players are averaging double-figure points led by freshman Maggie Proffitt with 16.3 points per game and is hitting 3.0 3-point fields each game. The Sugar Bear roster features six freshman, three sophmores and three juniors. There is not a senior on the team.
FIRST 3-0 START SINCE 2009
With a 57-54 win over Indiana State on Nov. 15, the Hoosiers improved to 3-0 to start the 2013-14 campaign, the program's best start since beginning the 2009-10 season 3-0. Since 2000, IU teams have started 3-0 on six occassions including this season.
IU MATCHES ROAD WIN TOTAL FROM LAST YEAR
With Indiana's road wins at IPFW on Nov. 12 and at Indiana State on Nov. 15, the Hoosiers matched their total road win total from a year ago (2) just three games into this season.
HOT START FOR HOOSIER OFFENSE
Indiana opened up the 2013-14 season scoring 85 points in each of its first two games. It marked the first time an IU team had scored over 80 points in consecutive games since the 2006-07 season when IU tallied 81 points against Illinois (2/18/07) and then 83 points vs. Northwestern (2/22/07). The Hoosiers totaled 170 points in those first two contests, the program's best back-to-back game point total since Nov. 2006 when IU scored 183 points combined in two consecutive games (85 vs. Valparaiso 11/15/06, 98 vs. Dayton 11/19/06). Indiana's 85 points in the season opening win over Oakland were the most points scored by a Hoosier team since Feb. 19, 2009, when IU tallied 85 points at Northwestern. It was the most points for an IU team in a season opening game since the start of the 2002-03 season when IU downed Wofford, 90-34. The 30-point win was the largest margin of victory since Dec. 9, 2009, when Indiana topped UT Martin, 80-46. At IPFW on Nov. 12, the Hoosiers scored 43 points in the first half and 42 points in the second half, marking the first time an Indiana team had scored over 40 points or more in both halves of a game since Nov. 14, 2008 vs. Ball State (44-1st, 40-2nd). Against Oakland, IU scored 48 first half points, the most points Indiana has scored in a half in the Curt Miller era. It was the most points scored by a Hoosier team in a half since IU scored 55 second-half points vs. Virginia on Nov. 26, 2009.
CONTESTING SHOTS
Through three games this season, IU's defense has had success defending opponents, especially contesting outside shots. Indiana opponents have shot 33.3 percent or lower overall in two of the three games to start the year and opponents have shot 21.4 percent or lower from 3-point range in all three contests. Hoosier opponents are shooting just 18.3 percent (11-of-60) from beyond the arc. IU contested Oakland (Nov. 9) to shoot just 16.0 percent from long range, including holding the Golden Grizzlies to go 0-of-10 from 3-point range in the second half. IPFW (Nov. 12) managed to shoot just 19.0 percent (4-of-21) from long distance and Indiana State (Nov. 15) connected on 21.4 percent (3-of-14) of its 3-point attempts.
BROOKS NAMED BIG TEN FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Indiana freshman guard Larryn Brooks earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors as announced by the conference office on Nov. 12. She shared the weekly award with Northwestern's Nia Coffey. Brooks led all scorers with 19 points in IU's 85-55 win over Oakland in the team's season opener on Nov. 9. She shot 6-of-10 from the field, 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. The Richmond, Ky., native led the Hoosiers with four assists, tied for the team lead with seven rebounds and had a blocked shot. Brooks started in her collegiate debut and played 27 minutes.
PULL DOWN THAT REBOUND
In each of IU's first three games, Indiana has won the rebounding battle. The Hoosiers are currently outrebounding opponents 95-67 on the season. Against Oakland on Nov. 9, the Hoosiers skied for 50 boards compared to the Golden Grizzlies' 30, a plus-20 rebounding margin, marking the biggest rebounding margin for IU in the Curt Miller era. Indiana also outrebounded IPFW on Nov. 12, 36-29 and Indiana State on Nov. 15, 42-37.
FIRST YEAR IMPACTS
In each of Indiana's games so far in 2013-14, four of Indiana's five starters have been first year players in the program. Of the 85 points scored by the Hoosiers in the season opener vs. Oakland, 62 of those came from first year players for IU. Nine total players made their Hoosier debut against Oakland and eight players made their first appearance in a collegiate game. On Nov. 15 at Indiana State, 48 of the 57 total points scored by IU were by first year players (84.2 percent). Overall on the year, first year players in the program have accounted for 165 of the 227 total points scored by the Hoosiers (72.7 percent).
GETTING TO THE LINE
In IU's win over IPFW on Nov. 12, the Hoosiers connected on 29-of-40 free throws in the game. Those 29 makes were the most for a Hoosier team since IU connected on 30 free throws against James Madison in a WNIT game on March 22, 2008. IU's 40 attempts from the charity stripe against the `Dons were the most since Dec. 7, 2002, when the Hoosiers attempted 40 free throws vs. Georgetown in Assembly Hall.
LARRYN LIGHTING IT UP
Freshman Larryn Brooks has been stellar in her first three career college games. She is currently averaging 20.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the free throw line. On opening night vs. Oakland, Brooks led all scorers with 19 points while shooting 6-of-10 from the field, 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. She also led the team with four assists and tied for the team lead with seven rebounds and added a block. At IPFW, the Richmond, Ky., native led IU with 25 points and six assists to go along with four rebounds. She shot 13-of-15 from the charity stripe against the Mastodons. Her 25 points against the `Dons were the most poinst scored by a Hoosier freshman since 1999 (Jill Chapman, 31 points). At Indiana State, Brooks scored 16 points and had four assists and three boards.
BIG SASH MAKING BIG SPLASH
Sixth-year senior Sasha Chaplin came to play at IPFW on Nov. 12. The 6-4 center scored 21 points, one shy of her career high, in 22 minutes of play in that game, shooting 8-of-12 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line to go along with seven boards. Through the first three games, Chaplin is averaging 11.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 57.7 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.
LET'S GO GERARDOT
Senior Tabitha Gerardot has scored in double-figures in each of her first three games in an IU uniform. She is averaging 11.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. She is also shooting 81.8 percent from the charity stripe. Last time out, she scored 11 points at Indiana State and led IU with eight boards. She returned to her hometown of Ft. Wayne, Ind. when IU battled IPFW on Nov. 12. She scored 10 points in the win, with a pair of boards and two assists. In her IU debut on Nov. 9 vs. Oakland, her presence was felt right away for the Hoosiers as she scored 14 points with six boards and a pair of assists in her first game and start in Assembly Hall. Gerardot shot 5-of-11 from the field and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. Gerardot enrolled at Indiana after spending the last three seasons at Valparaiso University. The Ft. Wayne, Ind., native earned her undergraduate degree from Valpo in three years. She is working on her master's degree in linguistics after earning undergraduate degrees in French and Spanish. Gerardot is fluent in five languages. The 6-1 Gerardot led the Crusaders in scoring in each of her last two seasons and averaged a near double-double last year with 15.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. She shot 47.4 percent during her junior season from the field and over 34 percent from beyond the arc on her way to earning Second Team All-Horizon League honors. Over her three years at Valpo, Gerardot appeared in every single game for the Crusaders and started in 91 of 93 contests to compile 1,215 career points while bringing in 723 career rebounds.
TAYLOR MADE HOOSIER
Freshman Taylor Agler has been a part of the starting backcourt in each of IU's three games this season. At IPFW on Nov. 12, Agler scored 13 points and was just shy of a double-double as she was the game leader with nine boards. In the season opener vs. Oakland, Agler led both teams with four steals in the win with three assists and two rebounds. She has logged 36 minutes or more in each game including playing all 40 minutes at Indiana State. She is averaging 7.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Hoosiers.
