BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University head men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley announced today that forward Sean Cowdrey (Silver Spring, Md./DeMatha Catholic), defender Billy McConnell (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock North), forward Tommy Thompson (Loomis, Calif./Granite Bay) and goalkeeper Colin Webb (San Diego, Calif./Rancho Bernardo) have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their soccer careers with the Hoosiers.
They join Tanner Thompson (Loomis, Calif./Granite Bay) and Michael Galullo (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) in the 2013 class. Thompson and Galullo enrolled at IU in January. The Hoosiers also added junior transfer Dylan Mares (Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville Community/Louisville) in January.
"We have a great group joining us next year," said head coach Todd Yeagley. "All of these guys bring a little different dynamic to our team. Most importantly we were able to fill some specific needs up the center of the field, where we lose some key players that helped us on our run to the championship. With this group the foundation is in place, along with our returnees, for the years ahead."
