Miller Seventh at World University Games

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University senior Cody Miller made his second championship final as the Hoosiers are well represented at the World University Games in Kazan, Russia.
Miller finished seventh in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:12.10. Mirroring his semifinal swim, Miller got out to a strong start and sat in third place after 150 meters. His time was 1/100th of a second faster than his semifinal time of 2:12.11. That placed him second in his semifinal heat and third heading into the championship final.
Earlier in the Games Miller finished seventh in the 100-meter breaststroke.
In other World University Games action, competing for her native Canada, sophomore Brooklynn Snodgrass placed eighth in her semifinal heat of the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:02.40. In prelims she finished second in her heat with at time of 1:02.03.
Competing in the 50-meter backstroke, James Wells placed seventh in the second semifinal heat at 25.80. Wells finished fifth in his prelim heat in 25.94.
