Silver, Bronze for Hoosiers at USA Diving Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Former Hoosier Amy Cozad took home silver on the 10-meter platform, and senior Conor Murphy and graduate Casey Johnson combined for bronze in the 10-meter synchro at the AT&T USA Diving National Championships in Iowa City, Iowa.
Cozad, a competitor at last month's world championships in Barcelona, Spain, took second on the platform with a score of 340.45. Senior Kate Hillman also competed in Saturday's final, taking eighth with 266.45 points.
Murphy and Johnson teamed up for third in the synchronized platform competition, tallying 321.15 points. Sophomore Andrew Hull and junior Danton Rogers were fourth with a score of 281.28.
Senior Darian Schmidt finished fourth in the 3-meter springboard competition, tallying 441.15 points.
The event runs through tomorrow with finals in the women's platform synchro, men's 3-meter synchro, women's 3-meter and men's platform.
