Three Hoosiers In Top 5 at Rocket Individual

PERRYSBURG, OHIO -- In the final event of the fall season, the Indiana men's golf team sent three players to participate in the Rocket Individual Classic at Belmont Country Club, hosted by the University of Toledo. After the two rounds on Monday, the Hoosiers had three players in the top 5, led by Keegan Vea in second place.
Vea opened the tournament with a 1-over par round of 73, tied for second lowest in the first round, and followed it up with 75 in round two for a total score of 148.
Andrew Havill and Will Seger round out the IU contingent playing in the tournament, and they both posted identical rounds of 78 and 75 for a total score of 153 and a tie for fifth place.
The tournament is an individual-only event, and no team scores are kept, as the 25-player field competes for an individual title.
The final round of the tournament gets underway at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
