OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ralston Evans
Redshirt junior offensive lineman Ralston Evans, who started his 20th career game vs. Penn State, was named IU's offensive player of the week for the second time this season, also earning the distinction following IU's win at Missouri.
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Tim Bennett, Greg Gooch, Mark Murphy & Zack Shaw
Senior cornerback Tim Bennett, freshman linebacker Greg Gooch, senior safety Mark Murphy and redshirt junior bandit Zack Shaw were named IU's defensive players of the week. Gooch had his first career interception vs. Penn State, while Murphy returned the fourth pick of his career for a touchdown, Indiana's only score of the day. Bennett chipped in four tackles and Shaw had three, including a tackle for loss.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bobby Richardson
Senior Bobby Richardson earned his first player of the week honors on special teams after blocking a 23-yard field goal attempt by Penn State in the second quarter. It was the first of his career.
SCOUT TEAM PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Ricky Brookins, Arthur Jones & Garrett Libertowski
Freshman running back Ricky Brookins, redshirt freshman safety Arthur Jones and redshirt junior linebacker Garrett Libertowski were named IU's scout team players of the week. Jones earned his third honor of the year, Libertowski his second and it was the first honor for Brookins.
