Indiana Divers Earn Big Ten Honors

It is the first weekly Big Ten honor for Parratto and the third this season for Hixon.
Hixon won the silver medal in the 1-meter springboard competition at last week's USA Diving Winter National Championships in Columbus, Ohio. That second-place finish earned him a spot on the 2015 World Championships team. Hixon also added a bronze medal on the 3-meter springboard, wrapping up a successful first semester at Indiana.
Parratto was a two-time gold medalist in Columbus, winning her second career individual platform title. She also picked up gold in the synchronized platform competition, teaming up with former Indiana All-American Amy Cozad. Parratto's medal haul at nationals also included a silver medal in the 3-meter springboard synchro event.
