Indiana Postgame Notes (at Minnesota)
• Indiana blocked eight shots in the game, its most since turning away nine shots against Stony Brook on Nov. 17 earlier this season. It is the most by the Hoosiers in Big Ten play since swatting eight shots at Penn State on Jan. 21, 2010.
• Seven different Hoosiers had at least one blocked shot in the game.
• Once again, Indiana won the rebounding battle in the game (35-30), marking 22 out of 23 games where the Hoosiers have grabbed as many or more rebounds that their opponent.
• The Hoosiers registered 18 second chance points to just nine for Minnesota.
• IU made five 3-point field goals in the game, the 13th time this season they have made five or more in a game.
• Sophomore Kevin Yogi Ferrell paced Indiana with 14 points in addition to four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes
• Ferrell went 2-of-9 from the 3-point line, increasing his streak to 22 straight games with at least one 3-point field goal made.
• Freshman Noah Vonleh picked up his 10th double-double of the year (4th in Big Ten play) with 12 points and 12 rebounds in addition to two blocked shots while playing 30 minutes.
• Senior Will Sheehey connected on 11 points to go with his four rebounds and two steals. He now has 987 career points, passing Matt Nover and moving into 47th place on the career scoring list at Indiana.
• Freshman Troy Williams posted 11 points and three rebounds in 26 minutes of action. He scored the first nine points of the game for IU.
• Sophomore Jeremy Hollowell came off the bench to score nine points in 13 minutes
• Sophomore Hanner Mosquera-Perea chipped in with three points and three rebounds in seven minutes
• Graduate student Evan Gordon grabbed two rebounds and dished out one assist off the bench
