
Hoosiers Earn All-America Honors

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Indiana men’s distance medley relay earned All-America honors for the sixth consecutive season on the opening day of the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center on Friday.
Junior Rorey Hunter anchored with the fastest 1600m split (4:02.31) to bring the Hoosiers from 11th to third-place in a time of 9:41.23.
Redshirt sophomore Jordan Gornall led off for the Hoosiers on the 1200m leg, followed by senior Derrick Morgan on the 400m leg, then freshman Tre’Tez Kinnaird on the 800m leg before handing off to Hunter.
Earlier in the season the team set a school record at the Alex Wilson Invite to qualify for the national meet.
Tomorrow senior Kyla Buckley will compete for IU in the shot put at 8:00 p.m. ET
