The quartet of Brooklynn Snodgrass, Bronwyn Pasloski, Gia Dalesandro and Kait Flederbach posted the 13th-fastest time of the morning in the 200 medley relay, clocking a 1:37.67 to earn an spot in the consolation final. That is the fourth-fastest time in Indiana history.
Dorina Szekeres placed 20th in the 400 individual medley, touching the wall in 4:10.69. Competing in her first individual event of the Championships, Dalesandro took 21st in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.41. That is the third-fastest time in IU history.
Lindsay Vrooman paced the Hoosiers with a 19th-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:45.55), while Cynthia Pammett was 35th (1:47.13).
Pasloski will return tonight for the consolation final of the 100 breaststroke, finishing 11th overall with a time of 59.76.
Snodgrass will swim the championship final of the 100 backstroke for the second-straight year, qualifying seventh in 51.87. Justine Ress finished 29th (53.29) and Allie Day 34th (53.48).
