OKLAHOMA CITY - Indiana's redshirt junior Taylor Walsh brought home some hardware, winning the NCAA Division-I Most Falls Award. He was presented a plaque commemorating his 22 D-I pins (26 overall) during the post-championships award ceremony.
Walsh destroyed the previous school record for pins in a season, topping the old mark of 19 held by Rob Chamberlin in 1981. With another year donning the Cream and Crimson, Walsh is also nearly guaranteed to own the career record as well. Walsh will enter his senior campaign tied for the all-time mark of 47 pins, needing just one more stick to take sole possession and surpass Viktor Sveda (1998-2002).
