Snodgrass Makes Final at Commonwealth Games

GLASGOW, Scotland - Indiana University junior Brooklynn Snodgrass will swim for her native Canada in the final of the women's 100-meter backstroke at the Commonwealth Games at Tollcross Swimming Centre in Glasgow, Scotland.
Snodgrass qualified sixth overall for the final after finishing fourth in her semifinal heat with a time of 1:00.26. That is just 3/100ths of a second off her school record of 1:00.23 set at the Canadian Trials in April.
Snodgrass posted the fifth-fastest time in prelims with a mark of 1:00.70. That is the third-fastest time in school history.
