2014-15 Wrestling Schedule Announced

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - In the 2014-15 regular season, Indiana will compete in four tournaments and 14 duals - six of which we will be at home in the University Gym. The Big Ten Championships, hosted by Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, will be held March 7-8. The NCAA Championships are in St. Louis, Mo. and will be March 19-21.

The Hoosiers will kick off the season on Nov. 8, wrestling at the Harold Nichols Open in Ames, Iowa. To complete the November slate, Indiana travels to Philadelphia, Pa. on Nov. 23 for the Keystone Classic at the Palestra. The team will then head out west for the 33rd Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Dec. 5-6). For the final tournament of the season before the Big Ten Championships, Indiana will grapple in the Midlands Championships hosted at Northwestern University (Dec. 29-30).
For the first dual and conference meet of the season, the Hoosiers will travel to Madison to face Wisconsin (Dec. 11). Two days later, Indiana will host SIU-Edwardsville and Manchester (Dec. 13), for the first home dual meets of the season. The Hoosiers close their non-conference schedule on the road - at Cleveland State (Dec. 20), at SIU-Edwardsville (Feb. 14), and Gardner Webb (Feb. 14 at SIUE).
Indiana returns to conference action at Penn State (Jan. 9); followed by the first home conference match-up of the season against Illinois (Jan. 11). Northwestern (Jan. 18), Michigan (Jan. 25), and Michigan State (Feb. 13) conclude the home bouts for the Hoosiers. The remaining conference events are at Ohio State (Jan. 23), at Nebraska (Feb. 1), and, to finish up the regular season, at Purdue (Feb. 20).
