Hoosiers Take 3-0 Win

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana volleyball team had a change in venue, but continued its winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Southeast Missouri State (25-23, 25-23, 25-17) in there second match of the Indiana Invitational.
After some power issues at University Gym, the tournament moved to Assembly Hall and the Hoosiers got off to a quick start, hitting .469 in the opening set.
Awele Nwaeze and Morgan Leach led the Hoosiers with 10 kills each and Taylor Lebo added eight kills. Sophomore setter Megan Tallman recorded 33 assists and junior defensive specialist Courtney Harnish tallied 13 digs.
The Hoosiers won the first two sets by close two-point margins, then pulled away in the third set. With IU leading 16-13, they closed the match on a 9-4 run.
Up next the Hoosiers will play Mississippi State at 7:00 p.m. for the tournament championship.
