BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana rowing program, coming off back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championships, announced the addition of seven student-athletes that will join the program starting with the 2016-17 academic year.
"I'm very excited about this group," Indiana head coach Steve Peterson said. "We have a well-rounded group of student-athletes, bringing a wealth of experience, domestic and international, to Indiana University. They should have an immediate impact on the program and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work with them next year."
In addition to consecutive trips to the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history, where they finished 11th both times, the Hoosiers have also set program bests with fourth place finishes at the Big Ten Championships.
