INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Nine Hoosier wrestlers travelled to the southside of Indianapolis this past weekend to participate in the Greyhound Open hosted by the University of Indianapolis.
Indiana had five wrestlers finish the day on the podium. In the 157-pound weight class Jake Danishek (unattached) was named champions after going 4-0 on the day. He improved his 2014-15 record to 22-4 (four pins).
Other Hoosiers to earn podium spots were Cole Weaver (unattached) -- third, Bryce Martin (unattached) -- third, Fletcher Miller (unattached) -- fourth and Brandon Joest (unattached) -- sixth. Jonathan Edwards, Gideon Van Hook, Samuel Thomas (unattached) and Gavan Jolley-Little also competed in the open Tournament.
