Hoosiers Named to USA Diving FINA Grand Prix Roster

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University freshman Jessica Parratto and former Hoosier All-Americans Darian Schmidt and Amy Cozad have been named by USA Diving to the roster for the FINA Puerto Rico Grand Prix, April 16-19 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Parratto, who will compete at her first Big Ten Championships next week, was named to the team in women's 10-meter, synchronized 10-meter and synchronized 3-meter. She will team with Cozad in the synchronized 10-meter competition, while diving with Deidre Freeman on the 3-meter. Cozad and Parratto won a national title in synchro 10-meter at the Winter Nationals in December.
In addition to her event with Parratto, Cozad will represent the U.S. in the platform event. For the men, Schmidt has been selected to compete in the 3-meter contest.
In addition to the divers, Indiana head diving coach Drew Johansen will serve as a coach for Team USA at the event.
