500 Freestyle
Indiana heads into tonight's championship final with the top two seeds, led by a career-best time of 4:39.82 from Haley Lips. Right behind her as the second seed is Kennedy Goss, who went 4:39.94 in prelims. Stephanie Marchuk also returns for an evening swim, making the B final with a career time of 4:43.76. Delaney Barnard finished 43rd overall with a career-best swim of 4:52.52.
200 Individual Medley Indiana went two up, two down in the 200 individual medley, led by Bailey Pressey in sixth with a career best 1:58.96. Sam Lisy earned the seventh spot with her career-best time of 1:59.19. Gia Dalesandro comes back in the B final after a 1:59.92, and she is joined by Brooklynn Snodgrass who went 2:00.10. Making the bonus final is Dorina Szekeres after posting a 2:00.62. Reagan Cook placed 26th (2:01.52-career best), with Rachel Matsumura 33rd (2:02.39-career best) and Olivia Barker 43rd (2:03.34).
50 Freestyle
Grace Vertigans was the top Hoosier in the 50 freestyle, earning a spot in tonight's bonus final with a time of 22.94. Gabriela Rajic placed 30th overall with a career time of 23.16. Other career bests on the morning included Ali Rockett (23.23-38th), Holly Spears (23.42-51st) and Kaitlin Kitchens (23.75-66th). Marie Chamberlain placed 57th overall with a time of 23.54.
