SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Hoosiers defeated Cal State East Bay 16-0, as Mary Campbell and MacKenzie Bonk combine to get the shut out. Indiana was led by freshman Kelly Matthews with four goals.
In total, nine Hoosiers scored against the Pioneers -- Matthews (4), Rebecca Gerrity (2), Alexis Jones (2), Sarah Myers (2), Shelby Taylor (2), Summer Creighton, Colleen McNaught, Candyce Schroeder and Sarah Young.
Indiana distributed the ball as seven different Hoosiers scored in the first half. IU led Cal State East Bay 9-0 at the intermission.
The Hoosiers would not hold back in the second half, scoring seven more goals. Matthews added three of her game-high four in the second half. Schroeder's fourth quarter goal gives her 17 for the season, a team-high for 2015. IU now has four games on the season with 12 goals or more.
Indiana will take on Cal State Monterey Bay at 6 pm ET tonight for the final game of the weekend.
