PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Indiana women's golf team finds itself tied for 11th after 36 holes of play at the Westbrook Spring Invitational at Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Ariz.
Play concludes with a final round of 18 holes Monday.
Indiana posted rounds of 296 and 300 for a tally of 596. Tennessee leads the field at 568, with Oregon (573), Illinois (579), and Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon State (580) rounding out the top-five scores in the 15-team field.
Camille Chevalier and Ana Sanjuan lead the way for Indiana with both tied for 32nd in the field. Chevalier led the Hoosiers in round one with an even par 72, followed by a 76 in round two for a 148. After carding a 75 in the first round, Sanjuan came back for a 1-over 73 in the final 18 holes of the day.
Pear Siriko was steady through her 36 holes, carding matching rounds of 75 to sit at tied for 53rd with a score of 150. One stroke back from Siriko is Maria Mancini, with scores of 74 and 77, good for a tie for 58th (151).
Rounding out the Hoosier five is Elizabeth Tong, who is within striking distance of her teammates at 152, putting her tied for 61st. Tong tallied matching rounds of 76.
Competing as an individual, Theresa-Ann Jedra scored rounds of 78 and 80 and is 80th in the field.
